Membership

Just come along on one of our operating days and ask to speak to a committee member.

Potential new members of SCMS are to be advised, in writing, of the formalities of how SCMS operates.

Applicants must be proposed by a current member of SCMS and seconded by another (we will help you with this).

An application form must be submitted along with the membership fee, and include the SCMS Shed Rules. This form will then be signed by two current SCMS members.

Current membership fees are $50 per annum. Our preferred payment method is by bank transfer.

Two shedders (proposer and seconder) will review your application with you, and submit the application to the next Management Committee Meeting for consideration.

The membership officer will advise the new member in writing regarding his membership.

Members are to sign in each time that they attend, and pay the daily fee of $2 (to cover tea/coffee expenses).

Come along, chat to the other men, enjoy a bit of banter, and perhaps utilise the shed’s equipment to make a project for your home or family.

You may also purchase a T-shirt with the SCMS emblem and your name embroidered on it. See the purchasing officer for this.
